Position Overview:

The Analyst, Treasury is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of day-to-day and period-end Treasury activities. The Analyst will support the Associate Director with the company’s cash flow forecast, internal and external audit initiatives and requirements, reporting, and compliance. The Analyst will contribute to various departmental and cross-functional initiatives, with a strong focus on enhancing departmental internal controls, processes, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with cash management functions including cash flow forecasting and analysis, preparation of the daily cash positioning, corporate borrowings and repayments
  • Lead quarterly flow of funds exercises across all operating portfolios, maximizing distributable cash
  • Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasting models to provide insight into future liquidity needs and work proactively to address any shortfalls
  • Effectively work with, support, and build relationships with internal business partners including Project Finance, Accounting, Investments, Legal, and Tax
  • Assist in the preparation of Treasury-related financial reports for senior management
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions
  • Help establish and maintain internal controls and company-wide Treasury policies
  • Drive and support initiatives to optimize banking infrastructure and cash management processes
  • Monitor quarterly and annual compliance with financing agreements
  • Review and initiate electronic disbursements
  • Support special projects and acquisitions as assigned
  • Assist Finance team with bank reconciliation process to ensure all accounts are accurate in the general ledger
  • Serve as secondary administrator on online banking platforms and other Treasury platforms
  • Other ad-hoc reporting, analytics, and projects

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of Treasury experience
  • Experience in the renewable power industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, CTP or CFA preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience and proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential
  • Self-motivation and attention to detail

Salary:

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 CAD
Bonus Opportunity: 10% of annual salary
